About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated intern to support our team in our internal, external and digital communications for a period of at least 6 months. We are looking for someone with a keen interest in impact investing and/or sustainable finance and excellent communication and organisation skills. At the NAB (Netherlands Advisory Board on impact investing), we want our interns to contribute in a meaningful way. We offer the opportunity to build hands-on experience. As we are a small team, we help each other in what we can, so you will be able to explore and develop different skills.
Requirements
Your key responsibilities are:
1.Support in communication tasks
Prepare presentations, layout and design of reports, factsheets and infographics,
Manage our social media channels and website,
Support the team in writing articles, blogs, newsletters & invitations, and send them out tomembers,
Contribute with ideas and manage communication campaigns,
Monitor digital marketing analytics (for website, social media and newsletters),
Keep internal communication databases up to date.
2.Support in daily tasks
Contribute to relationship management and communication with our members andstakeholders: (social) enterprises, impact fund managers, financial institutions, institutionalinvestors, family offices, NGOs, networks, universities, policy makers, etc.,
Take minutes during meetings,
Assist in organisation of practical arrangements for our events,
Assist in organizing workshops and seminars for our members and stakeholders, take care ofpractical arrangements,
Support the team with additional project-related tasks at hand.
You are:
Currently enrolled at a Dutch university, Master’s programme or Degree (preferably in a field relevant to this position: (digital) Communication, Marketing),
Affinity with newsletters formats, WIX design software, Hubspot and InDesign/Photoshop/Illustrator, Canva,
Experience in documents- and web-design, and website content management and curation,
Genuinely interested in impact investing, sustainable finance and/or a related topic and keen onmaking a positive difference to the world,
Proactive, autonomous, and flexible,
Creative and curious,
Fluent in English,
Proficiency in Dutch is a plus,
Excellent at writing for communication purposes,
Able to work in a (intercultural) team,
Enthusiastic to work in multi-stakeholders and multi-cultural environments,
Experienced in IT skills (Microsoft Office Package).

About the Company
The foundation (Stichting, in Dutch) Netherlands Advisory Board on impact investing (NAB) is an independent, non-profit organisation which aims to accelerate the growth and improve the effectiveness of the impact investing market. It will do this by raising awareness of, addressing barriers to and increasing confidence in investing with impact. Our vision is that in a healthy impact investment ecosystem, investments and savings help in solving social and environmental challenges, as well as seek a financial return. Our mission is to increase the effectiveness of the Dutch impact investment ecosystem to achieve the SDGs.
