Wil je bijdragen aan een duurzamer financieel systeem én tegelijkertijd waardevolle praktijkervaring opdoen? Heb je interesse in impact investeren en duurzame financiering en werk je graag in een dynamische, inhoudelijke omgeving? Dan is deze stage bij NAB impact investing iets voor jou.

We zoeken een enthousiaste en gemotiveerde stagiair die ons team ondersteunt bij nieuwe en lopende projecten. We bieden je de mogelijkheid om waardevolle praktijkervaring op te doen, je krijgt veel ruimte om verantwoordelijkheid te nemen. Binnen ons kleine team helpen wij elkaar waar mogelijk, zodat je verschillende vaardigheden kunt ontdekken en ontwikkelen.

Wat ga je doen?

Werken aan impactvolle projecten.

1. Het ondersteunen van lopende projecten en werkgroepen

Verzamelen en analyseren van data met betrekking tot actieve Nederlandse impact beleggers.

Beheren en onderhouden van relaties met werkgroepen, onze leden en stakeholders zoals (sociale) ondernemingen, impact fund managers, financiële instellingen, institutionele investeerders, family offices, NGOs, netwerken, universiteiten, beleidsmakers.

Assisteren bij het verzamelen en analyseren van data en coördineren van lopende werkgroepen.

Ondersteunen bij de ontwikkeling en aansturing van projecten en werkgroepen.

Eén van de projecten waar je aan gaat werken is het versterken van de verbinding met pensioenfondsen en verzekeraars.

2. Ondersteunen van dagelijkse werkzaamheden

Assisteren bij de organisatie en praktische afstemming binnen de NAB en met de NAB leden.

Ondersteunen van het team bij vergaderingen, het voorbereiden van presentaties en het bijhouden van notulen en projectdocumenten.

Uitvoeren van administratieve taken, zoals het bijhouden van de projectadministratie.

Jij bent:

Momenteel ingeschreven bij een Nederlandse universiteit (bij voorkeur in een relevant vakgebied zoals Finance, Business of Economics).
Oprecht geïnteresseerd in impact investeren, duurzame financiering en aanverwante thema's. Proactief, zelfstandig en flexibel.
Je schrijft en spreekt zowel Nederlands als Engels vloeiend.
Een goede schrijver.
Creatief, analytisch en nieuwsgierig.
In staat om te werken in een intercultureel team.
Enthousiast over het werken in een multi-stakeholder en multiculturele omgeving.
Vaardig in IT-toepassingen (Microsoft Office-pakket, AI-tools).

Communications intern

Do you want to use your communication skills to help accelerate impact investing and contribute to a more sustainable world?

The Netherlands Advisory Board on impact investing (NAB) is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Communications intern to support our internal, external and digital communications.

We are looking for someone with a keen interest in changing the world positively and excellent communication and organisation skills. You’ll be part of our small, committed team, contributing meaningfully to our work and gaining hands-on experience across a wide range of communication activities. Because we are a small organisation, you’ll have plenty of responsibility, room to explore different skills, and the chance to shape your internship around your interests.

What you’ll do

1. Support our communications

Manage and update our social media channels, website and write our newsletters.

Support the preparation of presentations, layout, reports, factsheets and infographics.

Assist in writing and editing articles, blogs & invitations for our members and stakeholders.

Contribute ideas to and help run communication campaigns.

Monitor and analyse digital performance (website, social media and newsletters).

Keep internal communication databases up to date.

2. Support daily operations

Help manage communication and relationships with our members and stakeholders, including (social) enterprises, impact investors, financial institutions, NGOs, universities, policymakers, etc.

Take minutes during meetings.

Support the organisation of events, workshops and conferences, including practical arrangements.

Assist with additional project-related tasks where needed.

Who you are

Currently enrolled at a Dutch university, preferably in Communication, Marketing, Business, or International Relations.

Strongly motivated to contribute to impact investing, sustainability and positive social change.

Proactive, independent and flexible, yet comfortable working in a small team.

Fluent in English with a good command of Dutch (spoken and written),

An excellent writer with an eye for tone and clarity.

Creative, curious and eager to learn.

Comfortable working in a multi-stakeholder and multi-cultural environment.

Digitally savvy, with experience in Microsoft Office and AI tools.

Affinity with newsletters, WIX and design tools such as Canva, InDesign and/or Photoshop.
Experienced with webdesign, website content management and curation.

"I first got in touch with the NAB while writing my dissertation on institutional impact investments in emerging markets, which examined the necessity of large-scale capital flows to drive sustainable development. Three months later, I was sitting at a breakfast session discussing the intricacies of these very investments with fund managers, as a NAB impact investing intern. And this is just a sliver of the topics the NAB engages with.

In short, the NAB improves the effectiveness of the impact investing market by fostering collaboration among stakeholders (including its 45+ members) and accelerates its growth by encouraging institutional investors to allocate 10% of AUM to impact (a target adopted by 5 insurance companies and pension funds). The internship offered me the opportunity to deepen my knowledge about impact investing and broaden my network in this market; an experience made all the more valuable by the inspiring and experienced colleagues I worked alongside. A truly impactful experience!"
