Angela van der Kooye is a communication professional with over twenty (20) years of experience. She recently joined NAB as a Communication and impact manager.

Prior to that, she worked for several government organisations in positions as the communication manager, head of the department of spokesperson, reputation manager and crisis manager.

She holds a Master & Bachelor Degree in Communications, speaks Dutch, English and Spanish and is interested in Greek Mythology. Furthermore, Angela is certified as a project manager and has been a lecturer in communications for over ten (10) years. She is also a part-time trainer and coach and the founder of the National Association of Communication, Marketing & PR in Suriname. Diversity and inclusion and intercultural communication are her latest interests and specialisations.

Angela’s mission is to contribute to the goals of NAB and use her communication knowledge and experiences to increase collaboration with stakeholders in the impact investment sector and develop different ways for online and offline presence.
