16.00 “What have we achieved half-way through the 2016 SDGI Pledge?”
Investments in sustainable development are growing and financing is available, however it is still not channelled at the scale and speed required to meet the SDGs by 2030. Are changes needed in the economic policies and financial systems? Is more cooperation between public and private sector key to mitigate risks and catalyse action going forward? Has greater blending occurred and is it still relevant? Where do we stand on the uptake of data standards? Has the regulatory environment become more enabling? How is SDG investing perceived within retail institutions?
