Public-Private Partnerships in impact finance

To tackle the multiple and interconnected challenges faced by the world today, effective co-operation of public and private sector is essential. Both are keen to contribute to realization of the Sustainable Development Goals. Both experience challenges in finding each other. During this lunch meeting, we will discuss and explore how government and the private financial sector can reinforce each other in their efforts to contribute to an impact driven economy or “brede welvaart” as we say in Dutch. Government needs private sector to complement scarce public funding and realize impact at SCALE. Financial sector needs government to mitigate certain RISKS.

The central question for this executive lunch session is:

How can government and private financial sector align to work together with mutual COMMITMENT towards much needed SOLUTIONS?
