About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and hands-on Communications Manager to lead our communication
efforts and amplify our voice as an organisation. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and
strong storyteller, capable of developing and executing communication strategies that align with our advocacy goals and resonate with diverse audiences. The Communications Manager will work closely with internal teams to identify opportunities for persuasive messaging, support events and webinars, and leverage team insights to refine and strengthen our communications approach, maximising outreach and impact.
As Communications Manager at the NAB, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the mission of the NAB: driving growth and collaboration across the Dutch impact investment ecosystem to accelerate progress toward the SDGs. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by engaging the various stakeholders.
Responsibilities & Requirements
Task and Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies that align with the
organisation's advocacy goals, tailored to specific audiences.
Craft compelling narratives, messaging, and content across multiple channels, including press
releases, op-eds, reports, newsletters, and social media.
Drive media relations efforts, including building media relationships, responding to media inquiries and media monitoring.
Oversee the digital presence, including website content, social media strategy, and email campaigns.
Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities to drive persuasive messaging for diverse audiences.
Monitor and analyse communication metrics to refine strategies and improve outreach effectiveness.
Requirements
Degree in Communications, Journalism, (Business) Economics or a related field (Master’s
preferred).
5+ years of experience in communications, advocacy, or media relations.
Good written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English. Non-Dutch-speaking candidates will not be considered.
Strong affinity with impact (investing) and sustainability.
Enthusiastic to work in multi-stakeholder and multi-cultural environments.
